Rough day.
So today has been a rough day! Just some stress, and found out my Dad won’t be able to make it for my graduation..all the sitnkin’ flights are full! BAH! SO I am a little bummed about that, but hopefully he will be able to come another time and spend a whole weekend here.
For breakfast, which was almost lunch because I almost forgot to eat breakfast! Aye! It was one of those days..
I ate some blueberry Oikos with some Kashi GoLean crunch mixed in.

Yummmm!

For lunch I had leftovers from last night. Some filet mignon, mashed potatoes, and asparagus! I heated up the filet in the oven with the rosemary which I then broke up into the mashed potatoes. Our apartment filled with the gorgeous aroma of rosemary and the potatoes tasted wonderful with the crunchy bits of roasted rosemary!

I sent out my super secret santa gift(which may get there late..oy!!) and then headed home to get ready for Adam’s Christmas party.
After the day I had I was just not up for dragging my DSLR to a party with people I mostly didn’t know, so I let myself take a night off!
I ate a little bit of 3 layer dip with chips, and some veggies with dip as well. I also ate some AMAZING baked brie(we got the recipe, might be making that really soon! I kept going back for more, especially with some drizzled honey. YUM!!!!
As my main course I ate some filet mignon and a lobster tail, with a side of two large shish-kabobs of veggies. Onions, zucchini, peppers, and mushrooms. Yum!
I also sipped a couple glasses of wine throughout the night.
I had a really great time, and was glad I started to feel comfortable really quick.
Now I must get to sleep, I graduate tomorrow bright and early. I have to be there at 7:30 and my graduation is at 9:00! YAY!!!
Have a goodnight!!!

A Day of Rest.
I feel like today was the first day I had to REST!
I am enjoying it thoroughly! I must back up to yesterday.
I got up and immediately had to get ready to head home so I had my other Chobani.

Blueberry. Yum!
Once I got through security I ordered a grande non-fat awake tea latte. Everytime I asked for non-fat(a couple times) the lady didn’t acknowledge it all, she was talking to someone else and then someone else made my drink so I am guessing it was not non-fat, because there was nothing written on my cup! :-\ Oh well, she also put vanilla in it. Is that normal? It tasted good and woke me up a little bit so I guess mission accomplished.

I had to resort to what was closest and easiest to eat, I noticed a Dunkin Donuts cart right by my gate so I got a whole wheat bagel and banana. But..they were out of cream cheese!! Sad right? I never eat bagels(although I LOVE them) and they were out of CC. Oh well, I used these two little containers of butter. Butter is a good alternative.

I wasn’t going to eat, but I realized that our flight was a bit delayed and I wouldn’t be eating for 4 1/2 hours. I knew eating something was better then nothing. This was super satisfying and held me over until dinner!

We went right to Adam’s parent’s house where I was welcomed with a home cooked meal! Yum. Sorry for the dark picture, my camera was packed and I didn’t feel like trekking out in the rain to get it.
We ate a mini stir-fry veggie mix, corn bread, a roasted chicken, and a glass of white wine that was yummy!
Oh and maybe add two more pieces of cornbread. What?? I just LOVE LOVE LOVE cornbread!!! I can’t eat just one piece.

My mother-in-law also made funfetti cake! How…fun!
I ate this slice. Yumm! There’s something about funfetti cake you just can’t beat.
A few hours later, I had this nighttime snack.

I didn’t post last night because I hadn’t seen Adam in a few days, and was the longest time we had apart! Thinking of jumping on my computer to post instead of spending time with him just didn’t feel right. I know posting has been sporadic but I am back friends.
Breakfast was two pieces of toast with pumpkin butter and a clementine. Yum! Also a cup of coffee with some coconut creamer.

I met up with my former roommate and great friend, Mandy for lunch. We had been meaning to get lunch for a while now and she wanted to try a small Mexican restaurant nearby that always seems packed. I know, Mexican for the second time this week. But I said yes, I love discovering new places!

We first snacked on their yummy chips and some salsa. I ordered enchiladas again. These were drenched with cheese! A little too much for me, but I ate one and some rice and the beans.
I brought the extras home for Adam.
Tonight I am cooking for Adam, and I can’t wait!
See you all later!

Two more days!
Only two more days left of my internship! YAY!! Cannot wait to be done.
Breakfast was rushed this morning, again. I had a little more time to get ready for my seminar but boy was I SUPER tired! Apparently I have decided to give up on getting 8 hours this week. I know it’s bad to say, but because I don’t have to teach I am more okay with not getting enough sleep as much as it stinks the next day. There’s just too much to do! I’ll be catching up on my zzzz’s after Friday. I hate getting less then 8. Less then 8 don’t feel so great! Oh well..
Breakfast ended up being a Kashi pumpkin pie bar (I am officially obsessed), some tazo awake tea, and a yogurt. All unpictured, I was in a rush and figure you all know what they look like by now so I’m sure you don’t mind.

Too cute.
When I got home, I had a photoshoot with Leo..then I made lunch.
For lunch I heated up a Morning Star spicy black bean burger topped with organic ketchup and spinach, frozen veggies, frozen broccoli and kale chips! Yummm!
I swear there’s a burger under them there spinach leaves!
Along with a string cheese.

Also, a glass of V8 fruit juice. Oh, and ketchup with hot sauce for dipping the kale chips!

I also had a mug of ginger-green tea. After lunch and cleaning the house!
Tonight we had our small group and Joyce(who usually makes dinner) and her husband were out of town so we had pizza!

Plus a yummy salad with toasted almond slivers, strawberries and a raspberry vinaigrette! Yummm!
I had another half a slice of pizza and another heaping scoop of that salad with extra strawberries. So yummy!

..and a perfectly sized cupcake with chocolate frosting. Deeelish.
Today was super busy! I thought my seminar was three hours, found out this morning it was 3 1/2 which turned into almost 4 hours!! I didn’t really get a day off because once I got home I realized that the students got out of school 30 minutes later. Sort of a bummer. I rested for a little after lunch and then got right into cleaning our apartment until Adam got home, then it was right off to small group. Sort of a bummer I wasn’t more productive. Oh well, the house is now clean! I have two more days until I am freeeee!
