About Me
Hello everyone! Welcome to my blog, thank you so much for coming! My name is Katy and I am twenty-two years old and I live in Orlando. I am recently married and about to become a graduate of the University of Central Florida. I cannot wait! I will have a degree in Elementary Education, but I am still figuring out plans for the future!
I am a goofball and really just love to have fun.

My husband’s name is Adam and he is amazing. I am so very blessed!

I found a whole new love for cooking through him. He’s got the most amazing collection of cookbooks. I am so excited to dive in.

I was mostly a baker until I got married. I LOVE baking. I think because it is so methodical, you follow precise measurements or it won’t turn out right. I love getting focused into a recipe, it’s almost therapeutic!

I started cooking more in the last year I am loving it more and more each day. I am looking forward to working on and sharing my recipes with you!
I also love learning about healthy living and passing that knowledge on to those around me. That was the inspiration for starting this blog!

Another love of mine is working out and being active. I recently ran my first 5k in September and I was hooked. I am definitely a beginner, but I am determined to work my way up to longer runs, and better times.

I do eat meat, but I try and keep my meat intake lower then I have in the past, and I am slowly finding what amount works for me. I think it’s important to try different styles of eating and find what gives you energy and makes you feel good. I have had bad eating habits including eating A TON of sweets, drinking sodas, and relying too much on fast food. Now I love the challenge of figuring out what to put together to eat with what I have.
I am still finding that healthy balance, but I love making healthier decisions everyday. I have found that I not only feel better physically, but mentally I feel stronger and proud that I make better decisions. It’s a great feeling and gives me such a drive to show people that you can make better decisions easily everyday that aren’t sacrificing, but satisfying!

I love God, love my husband, love life, love wine, love food, and I am very much loving this new chapter in my life..
I am happy to be documenting this journey as I learn to live a healthier and happier life one “step” at a time. Please join me!
Thank you so much for reading! I really can’t wait to share what I learn with you.
Katy

I was curious if your blog title was from the scripture “how beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news?” Good stuff!

I just ran my first 5k, too! How is your running going? What is your next running goal?

Running is starting out slow. My next running goal will be to find a 10k to work towards! I just made that my goal right now.
I’ll let you know when I sign up for one!
